Owner & Culinary Creator
Angelika first fell in love with food when she was just a little girl, as her mom would say, “She watched more Food Network than cartoons”. This love of food carried through to her very first job working at a donut shop & deli and later Nugget Markets when she was 16 years old. Quickly, she became obsessed with wanting to work in the specialty cheese department, and by the time she was 18, she got her wish and thus started a 6 year career as a Cheesemonger. She has competed in a national contest called “The Cheesemonger Invitational” and placed 7th overall, completed an Alchemist Micro- entrepreneur program, traveled to many dairies, learned directly from cheese makers and gained a wealth of knowledge of cheese and charcuterie. After leaving the food industry, to pursue a career in the medical field, she found herself missing food. When she met her partner Christopher, who is a fellow food lover and Chef, it really inspired her to pursue a career in food again. It was at this point, they both decided to start a food business together that focused on locally sourced ingredients, quality small batch products and providing a unique experience to fellow food lovers; From this Flora & Fauna Provisions was born! Angelika puts her flavor pairing expertise and palette to use in her role of product development, customer service, branding and production, to bring local ingredients to life in a unique way for all aspects of the Flora & Fauna Provisions culinary experience.
